I have just just remembered that I was tagged in a meme at the beginning of April by the lovely asmallhandinmine and I haven't done anything about it.

So he we go.
These are the instructions:

1. Open your first (oldest) photo folder in your computer library

2. Scroll to the 10th photo

3. Post the photo and the story behind it

4. Tag 5 or more people to continue the thread

This is a picture of DS4 Baby B . Mr L and I and gone out of the room for a very short amount of time to do something in the kitchen and this is the site that greeted us when we came back into the living room Baby B asleep on the rug completely asleep. I cannot believe that Baby B is almost two! Where have the last two years gone it doesn't feel that long ago that I was heavily pregnant over my due date and going into hospital to be induced!

Right to finish this Meme of I have to tag 5 people so here goes:-

My Sister at The Pondering Sheep

my good Friend Sarah at Sarah the suburbanite

and I still have to find 3 more!

Will be back later to edit it

Charity Shop finds

This week I have decided to go and have a route around the Charity shops.

In this city we have lots but there are several which are better than others

So for under £10 I managed to buy

an original 80's My Little Pony Pillowcase
a Japanese looking scarf
A pair of fab stripey trousers which just need one button sewing on on the pocket
and a beautiful Handbag ( which just needs some beads sewing back on)

I think that some chairty shops can be a real treasure trove of goodies that can be up cycled or put to another use!
The My Little Pony Pillowcase will be made into a bag
The japanese scarf is dentined to be made into needlwork accesories

I will of course show you all the results when I have transformed them into something new!

Busy Weekend!

This weekend seems to have vanished in a blink of an eye! Last thing I remember it was Friday afternoon and the boys had just come home from school!

I can tell that the weekend has been busy the hosue looks likes a possesion bomb has exploded!

There is stuff everywhere from Clothes to craft stuff!

I am currently working on a crochetted blanket. I have so crochet 26 squares and have just worked out that I need about 100 so I am over a quarter of the way there!
I have decided to use the wool that came with magazines as it is washable so if the kids decide they want to take the banket camping in the garden or to use as a rug to sit on, I can put it in the washing machine.

I must get better!

I seemed to have disappeared from the world of cyber blogging for a while and it is probably just because life got in the way!

Busy finishing a crossstitch off!

Making prayer beads for the local cathedral!

and a million and one other things that are going on in my head at the moment!

The de-cluttering is still carrying on as is the real nappy wearing.

Veg has started growing and I now have 9 courgettes almost ready to plant out in tubs in the garden along with the salad and carrots that are already growing I think next post I will welcome you to the garden!

All Quiet on the Western Front!

I seem to be using a run of titles of Films or TV series!

Nothing much has happen in the last two weeks.

I have had a mountain of washing created my Master LL and Master E on their trip to PGL

More decluttering has taken place and more will just noticed that the boys swing in the garden has a frayed rope!

I have been doing quite a bit of craft recently this is a card I made for one of my good friends birthdays!

Currently I am about to finish a sampler for our Curate who is about to move a long way north that is Dunoon in Scotland. I will of course post photos when it is done and has been given otherwise they might find out about it before I have given it to them!
